DSan Video Clock for PerfectCue Version 74

Use this application to display data from PerfectCue ONLY using the appropriate VC-2000 USB--Cat-5 dongle. (Do not use a VC-2000 dongle that is configured for Limitimer !)

This setup program will load the Video Clock files into your Program Files directory under DSAN-VideoClockForPerfectCue subdirectory.

You may select any other directory and run the executable from that directory. The program looks for bitmap files located in directories relative to the location of the application executable.

No files are added to the Windows System directory. All application files are placed in the VideoClockForPerfectCue installation directory. When you save a configuration, a registry entry is made uner Local Machine | Software | DSAN | VideoCLock. This tells the application to open this configuration the next time it is launched.

The first time you open VideoClock, since there is no Registry item, the application will open configuration Default.cfg. You can always save a custom configuration as Default.cfg to make it open on the next launch.

Use this application to display PerfectCue data ONLY. Please request a different dongle and different software to display data from other DSan products such as The TimePrompt and Limitimer. Each dongle can display data from one product. Only one instance of the program can run at one time. Another product, DataConnect allows you to embed cue light or speaker timer data INTO a PowerPoint slide. The DataConnect product includes VideoClock sotware.

The uninstall facility deletes all files associated with the application from your computer except those files and images that you have created.

Questions and answers as well as other resources are available at www.dsan.com/VideoClock.

Refer to the User Guide via a shortcut link on the Start | All Programs menu under DSAN - VideoClockForPerfectCue. It contains important instructions about creating and naming your own bitmap images.

This application makes extensive use of Windows components available only in the libraries found when the Visual C++ development tool, Visual Studio, has been installed. To install these components on your machine (without installing Visual Studio), please visit Microsoft at
